Alison Pill
Pill produced in her home province of Canada which took many years to reach the point where she broke into market in the American market. The most notable of these appearances was an episode from the Canadian series Traders with Bruce Gray. Pill was able to secure the role of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would have, Can, Shoulda" written by Naren Shankar and featuring Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill's role in Picard was followed by a prominent supporting role in the show as "Katie" on Devs. This TV show is produced through FX Productions on Hulu and was produced by the digital-VFX firm Double Negative, featured her in every episode. Similarities between the shows did not end there. They revealed that the main theme of Devs revolves around the preservation a conscious in an artificial creator, much like what Data had done in Picard's season 1 finale "Et in Arcadia Ego Part 2."
